In 1993 she studied at L’ecola d’arts i oficis La LLotja in Barcelona, beginning training as an interior designer and later moving to the specialty of sculpture. In 1997 he began working in the technical team of Jaume Plensa’s studio as an assistant for 4 years. In 2002 he visited the ADK, Akademie der Künste in Berlin, with the intention of complementing his training. It is in Berlin where the sculptor Anthony Cragg encourages him to begin his career as a sculptor. His work is part of national and international collections and he has participated in numerous contemporary art fairs. Starting from personal experiences and from his intuition, he uses iron and wood as his main tools; lead, copper, resin, glass and stone are also part of his expressive palette. The emptiness as part of the work and the color that Camps introduces little by little, give his work great expression and feeling.
