Mario Pasqualotto is an artist of very diverse interests: his creative activity encompasses many different fields of the plastic arts, including installations, scenic environments, sculpture, painting, jewelry and graphic arts.
Mario works primarily from his studio in Barcelona, which he considers his home base. He also spends regular periods of time in Plainfield, New Jersey (USA), and has worked in other places in Spain and the USA, as well as in Italy and Germany.
He first exhibited his work in Italy and Spain in 1975, with subsequent exhibitions in several European cities. Pasqualotto usually works in series and each project involves the accumulation of large quantities of materials. In a long process of selection and elimination, they are distilled into the final form.
