Brussels, 1964
He was born in 1964 in Brussels. In the year 2000 he graduated as a Higher Technician in Plastic Arts from the Olot Art School. He began his artistic career as a sculptor and painter. All his work is linked to the idea of the human being, his future and his relationship with the environment that surrounds him. Ten years of work as an agricultural engineer in various developing countries in Africa and America imbue his work with an overwhelming globality and existentialism.
He understands his work as a meditation on contemporary man and his limits, but also on the power he is capable of exercising over space and nature, approaching an increasingly fragile balance. The focus is on rediscovering man’s footprint, his ability to dialogue with nature, to participate in an increasingly necessary thinking about the relationship between man and nature.
He currently lives and works in Catalonia.
