Manu vb Tintoré
Brussels, 1964 (Spain)
He was born in 1964 in Brussels. In 2000 he graduated as a Higher Technician in Fine Arts from the Art School of Olot. He embarked on his artistic career as a sculptor and painter. All his work is linked to the idea of the human being, his future and his relationship with the environment around him. His ten years of work as an agricultural engineer for ONU in various developing countries in Africa and America permeate his work, at the same time, with an overwhelming globality and existentialism.
He understands his work as a meditation on contemporary human being and his limits, but also on the power he is able to exercise over space and nature, approaching an increasingly fragile balance. The focus is on rediscovering man’s footprint, his ability to dialogue with nature, to participate in an increasingly necessary thought about the relationship between man and nature.
He currently lives and works in Catalonia.
